AWARDS: Will be given out at the conclusion of races/events and is the responsibility of each individual winner to be at the ceremony or to pick up after presentation.

COACHES INVITATIONAL MEET WRAP UP

Overall just another horrible day of racing.  Started out cold, drizzly, and medium winds.  Soon the rain stopped but the cold air just didn't make it promising.  Overall tremendous effort by all the athletes.

Third meet of the season and once again conditions weren't in anyone's favor with high winds and the temperature dropping at the meet continued.  Times were not favoring for overall PR's so the goal was to compete for positions and placing.

TWILIGHT MEET WRAP UP

What a great day to run a meet!  Head wind was a little strong in the beginning but leveled off in the evening.  Overall was a great meet despite the divide and conquering from Regis College and Weston High School and the fact that some athletes took the SAT in the morning. 

As with the traditions of the blog we highlight the athletes who scored points for the team and the top 3 highlights that stood out at the meet.

What a great day to run a meet!  Head wind was a little strong in the beginning but leveled off in the afternoon.  Overall despite what times might show (not sure how they got some of those times) great performances all the way around.

Top Highlight That Stood Out At The Meet
1.   Boys 4 x 100 team medaling and taking 3rd overall 
2.   Nathan placing 5th in the finals and setting a new PR for the high hurdles 
3.   Sid placing 7th in the finals in the 100 meter dash 
4.   Girls 4 x 100 team placing 11th overall and setting a new PR for the season 
5.   Jaelin Hoopes who kept her spirit high despite the set back in the high hurdles

DCL MEET #3 WRAP UP (V. BOSTON LATIN / LINCOLN SUDBURY)

Second meet of the season and first tri-meet of the year.  Once again conditions weren't in anyone's favor with it averaging 85 degrees and extremely humid.  Seems we went from cold wet weather to extreme summer weather all within a week.  Would it be safe to say we are now approaching Spring or Summer?  Not sure - but overall tremendous effort and many PR's once again.
